![]() ![]() Traktor key wheel software#Depending on what software you are using to detect your key in ANY format, the accuracy will VARY tremendously. ![]() This should satisfy your understanding but doesn't quite answer your question in terms of usability. Its a wheel, so again, when you get to 12a, it loops to 1a next. A 1m in Pioneer actually starts at 8a in Traktor. As far as the number is concerned, it just starts at a different point on the wheel. Looking at my wheel, A 12m is a D-flat minor. The "m" is for Minor or Moll and I assume the other side of it is 12d or "d" for Major or Dur. You need to understand first what the "m" is in your 12m. google camelot chart and you will find a key wheel. I just need an answer for what I asked, that's all. something that makes it less of an effort on you? Please don't post stuff like 'just learn keys maan' or 'you gotta do it by the ear' yeah I know all that. So do you guys know a chart or smtn like that, that will help me with understanding which keys harmonize with others? Of course every track runs on a different scale etc. But I am aware that certain keys go well with others, creating harmony. I'm not talking about those songs that have 32 bars of just kick and snare. A 12m and another 12m mixes perfectly almost all the time but a 11m and a 12m doesn't mix well quiet often. ![]() The problem comes in (sometimes) when you have to mix a 7m track into an 8m track. Pioneer has a different way of telling you the key of a song. So it's pretty easy to mix a 7m with a 7m for example. I can mix by ear, but when I need to save time on things I like to use the key system provided by Traktor's key system. I don't have any theory knowledge, notation knowledge or scale knowledge. So I'm a musician who only mixes or composes by his ear. ![]()
